Good Morning I hope that everyone had a wonderful 3 day weekend. Well I guess not everyone did, but as well I hope everyone did have a great weekend. Physically mine was pretty laid back and we won't go there for the mentally. I would be here all day typing...LOL...so I will leave it at that.

I got an email from my mom over the weekend and she sent me something that is a little fun to do. I usually just delete stuff like this, but as I was cleaning out my inbox this morning I came upon this. Do you know how many people have the same name as you. Not sure it this will work for those of you out of the USA, but I checked my out and here are the results on my side bar. I thought it was kind of fun. If you like email me what you think....

Well, no other news for now. It is Sept 2 and just wanted everyone to know that my kits I have for sale are now only at Treasures To Scrap. This month it is going to be a releave as my new classes of Marteting is alot of reading and research. Sad as I had been doing well at TSG, but they understand what I am having to do. Also those of you at DSG I miss you all, but I must do what I have to do inorder to better myself.

There were over 200 names Linda (Bon Scrapatit Designs) had to pick from... And over 100 people sent them in. WOW... I am so happy to know that there are that many people who regularly visit my blog. I didn't advertise this any place else. It has me over whelmed with happiness and appreciation that I am able to design scrap kits that future generations to see their Family Scrapbooks and know all about their families special moments. Well ladies, I have been so busy today putting the last touches on my final paper for my first finished college class. I really hope I keep doing as well on my next few classes to come. But I have to say, you get what you put into to it. Most of my classes are about Business Administration, and I have been working as a bookkeeper for about 20 years so it helps knowing some of what they are talking about. But enough about this...time to play.


At midnight tonight is the cut off for emailing in your names for the Name this kit. I will be emailing the list to Linda Walton aka Bon Scrapatit Designs late tonight. Aug Starbucks' Travel Mug Challenge!

As some of you know that I post my freebies onVicky site, Digi Scrap Depot and I have been doing Teri's Starbuck Coffee Travel mug Template Challenge. I really enjoyed making this one for my mom for an early Christmas Gift and I thought I would print one and get the travel mug from Starbucks to send to my sister from Santa and her daughters, Gracie and Karley . Credits and the kit I used was Miss Linda's "Saturday In The Park" Blog freebie she had a few months ago. I just love this kit, she did an awesome job with it. FREEBIE PART 4 of Name this Kit!

Well, I have to say that I am really sick of the rain...it has been raining here for 4 days. We are safe and other than a few power BLINKS....we have weathered Tropical Storm FAY fairly well.
Yesterday we sat in the eye of the storm most of the day, as it has decided to stall and just sit here. Today only moving 2MPH WNW...we are now getting the backside of the storm. Very windy and pockets to rain pouring like it is coming out of buckets. . . Sorry to complain, we are VERY lucky as there is a lot of people here in Brevard County, Florida that got up to 28 inches of rain, having to leave their homes ect....Please keep them in your prayers as some of the area that is under water are a very poor part of town with alot of older people who can't really afford to keep the extra flood insurance that is required here in FL as they live in a flood zone.Here is Grandma's little Guy, Xander. He is my youngest grandson, at 9 months. Credit to Mama's Little Man by Kimmie Stewart (freebie QP, Thank you Kimmie. This kit is an awesome little man's kit for sure.)


OK, I feel so lucky to have SOOOO many of you gals that are reling ot Name This Kit. I hope you are having as much fun as I am. Freebie Part 3 of Name this Kit and News about Hurricane Fay.

Good afternoon everyone. Here are a couple photos I took before the rains and winds really got bad last night. Hurricane Fay reached us about 8 pm last night and is still sitting over us. After listening to the news, I feel we have been lucky so far, a couple of placed south of us had 21 inch yesterday and is still raining on them. Flooding has been the main problem with this storm. (This is why I wasn't online last night to get this posted.) I didn't want to take a chance as it was lighting pretty had on and off. I want to say thank you all for all the emails of the name this Kit. I will send out your alphas a little later tonight, as long as the thunder and lighting don't start up again.

WOW...NAME THIS KIT! Contest and another Freebie

I am so SURPRISE with all the response to "Name This Kit" that I guess I am going to have to rethink this a little. MEANING...there are so many wonderful names I have seen so far and I want this to be fare to all, so. Here is what I came up with:

Caley Needs our Prayers!

Hi everyone...sorry I didn't get back sooner. I got on the local news web page to look for something and came across the blog they have for the missing little 2 year old girl here in Florida. Without going into the whole story, which is so full of lyes and BS that I would just like to remind everyone with small or big children to give them all the love and protection your can. We live in a crazy world today and I am playing this video also as a reminder that we all have an Amazing Grace and freedom but in one moments notice it can all fall down around us if we don't hold on tight to our loved ones and watch over them so closely......Dear God in Heaven, please take this little Angel, Caley in your arms and watch over her and fill her with your AMAZING Grace!

I just had to share this with you all as our digital scrapping community scrap our little angels all the time watching them so closely through our camera lens and capturing every little special moment we can and to think there are people out there who think nothing of harming inoscent children who look to us for guidence with those trusting eyes at the age of two, much less her own mother... I am sorry I am going on and on but I feel very passionite about things that happen like this. I will stop but could you please find it in your heart to say a loving pray for this little Angel so that maybe there is some slim chance they may find her alive, but if not that God has taken her under his wing and blessed her sole with his AMAZING GRACE!

I hope this finds everyone having a good week so far. I am better now but I had a couple of rough days of not feeling the greatest. Do to allergies and could stand for my glass to touch my nose...I feel like my whole weekend was a lose, but I am fine now that it is time to go back to my daily grained.I received my portraits from my mom yesterday and Had to share. First on I know as soon as I got them I had to use Linda Walton's Saturday In The Park QP.......I have one more to share today and I will share the others another day. It has been a long day, I worked on my assignment most of the day and I think I did pretty well, but I sure feel drained. But now I can paly the rest of my weekend. WOO HOO.

I had brunch with a couple of gals I use to work with at Jackson Hewitt last year and had a really good visit. But I sure had something fun happen to me on the way to meet them. I usually meet at a restaurant the is right by the expressway at Ihop. So I jumped on I95 heading south and as I just about got to the exit, one of the girls called me to let me know they would be inside getting the coffee coming to the table, well as most highway are in our area was under construction and I said I was about 30 seconds from the exit, I'd be right there. So I must of passed the sign that said South bound exit 520 was CLOSED. So I realized I had to drive 10 miles out of my way to turn around so I could get off at the exit I was to meet them at. WHAT a pain. 20 miles out of the way I finially got making me late as always.

WOW, what a weekend. I got almost nothing finished "I" wanted to get done. My boss left for vacation Thursday and I ended up working all weekend at my real world job. Meanwhile, laundry is still piling up, dish in the sink as we ate on the run all weekend and it is Monday night and I am still not finished reading my next assignment much less started my next paper, BUT I do have some news for you for the up coming month.

GOOD Morning everyone! It has been an exciting week so far. My first day in college went very well and learning my way around the virtual campus was really kind of fun. My first paper is do this Sunday and I am all finished except the references page...WOO HOO. As I said before now I wish I would of pay more attention to how my kids were to put their yearly science projects together, but I have it donw now. Not sure how many of you know that one of my CT's is my daughter, Dusty aka mikeyjavimami2124. Well, is she...LOL but she is attending college at AIU also. What a fast learner and smart girl, if I say so myself. It is so awesome to be able to share and learn together with her. Since she moved back to Florida and lived close for about the last year and a half we have become very close as friends. And what an awesome feeling that is as she was a real tough cookies as she was growing up. But has always been MY baby girl! (Love you sweetie)

I finally finished this alpha last night. It turned out pretty cute I have to say so my self. Good morning everyone! Just a quick note and to let you know all know (Jill thank you for posting about the missing letters) That I forgot to upload the symbols and numbers which include the lower case t u v ....I guess post so late at night isn't always good. So I am just Posting the link for that now ans posting you the rest when I get home from work as I need to make a preview.

My first day on the virual campus went well. I am enjoying this first class, as it is about business planning and how the affect the areas in which you open one. Being a bookkeeper for about 18 years for four different companys, it is easy for me so the reading is easy for me to understand. BUT MS Office 2007...that was a diffent story. As much as I have used Word, I didn't realize what all the little buttons across the top were for and didn't use them. It was funny as we have to type our assignment in a APA format and I had found a template on MS for it so I downloaded it and all those button at the top changed...couldn't found anything. Point being, it sure wasn't like the old school typing class. TOO many options. LOL...Well ladies and gents I need to get off to work so I will leave you with the missing parts of you alpha until tonight.

Bugs Alive Freebie Part three......

Well, hours and hours later, I finally got this ready for posting. It seemed like everyone wanted a part of me today! I spent a big part of the day on the phone. Usually it is very quiet here on Saturday. JJ is out mowing and taking care of his lawncare business and I have a usually QUIET house...Not today! It could mean tomorrow is going to be...(I am saying hopfully).

I spent the most part of the morning surfing around the virtual campus, checking out my college classes and my first few assignments...Boy not only I'm I having to read for the classes, but I have to learn to write a paper to turn in for each assignment. Cover page, title page with index, Body of the reseach and then the resources page. BIG warning all over the site, NO coping anything with out a credit for it. It is funny as I never really realized why elementary school age kids had to do the yearly science projects but to my surprise...it is to learn how to put together assignment papers for college courses. Didn't realize what I was in for. Thought it was going to be...read a few chapters and do an oline quiz and maybe one reseach paper, but in my first 8 weeks class we have to do one for each assignment (8 total) and also have an outline directions for posting comments in the teachers forum. Being active in the forum is a big part of the grade too! ....I sure have my work cut out for me. If any of you really know me, I hate forums...All that digging for information and usually so many OLD threads, with things that happened MONTHS ago, in some years ago..if it's done and over with DELETE IT! Is my feelings on that...LOL...it is half of the grade so I better get use to it! At least I enjoy to topic and the reading of chapters goes by pretty quick. Already read most of the first three chapters, which is where my first assignment comes from. I will keep you posted...hopefully with out bording you to death!

So here is part 3 of the Bugs Alive kit...It includes the lower case alpha and numbers / symbols...the Cap part of the alpha is about half finished. When I get done here, I am going to try to finish most of it up to post soon (see I didn't promise tomorrow, but hoping). I want to get started on a kit for Aug for my friends that visit me here each day. I hope you enjoy this.

ATTENTION....WRONG ALBUM for my templates for the SCALLOPED EDGE ALBUM.

I wanted everyone to know that my scalloped template album DOES NOT fit the Kate Cosmo Blackboard album....I purchased a template set to make these and thought it would fit them but they are made for another Scalloped edge board album, called Scallop Album by BasicGrey. I am so sorry I didn't test it BEFORE I posted it here...I went JJ Grandmother 74 birthday last night for dinner and bought home the photos and made the album for her, got everything printed and started to glue the first piece to the blackboard and it wouldn't line up....Well luckly I had orders a few of the new albums we are seeing qp made and ordered one from Treasure To Scrap as they have a paper scrapping store too, and I had gotten one of these Scallop Albums, IT FIT! WOO HOO project saved.... Please REMEMBER this if you downloaded it, to get the right album. I put this in my store as a bonus for purchasing my kit so I am going to go through my recpt and email everyone....SORRY...lesson learned...test them out FIRST!

Hi everyone

Just a quick note that I will be posting another part to Bugs Alive tomorrow. I have been getting signed up to go to college for my assocated degree in Business Medical Coding and Billing. It is along time coming but I am finally going for IT! WOO HOO College Girl...at my age LOL. But really I am very proud to be furthering my education no matter what age I am.

Thank you all for your love and support. Your kind words mean the world to me. I have been staying up in the top 20's on all the blog rolls...because of you stopping by here. So that is why I want to Thank you all. But to let you know that I will have to do what I can for the next year while attending classes...but I will be here, so PLEASE keep stopping by. Somedays it works and others, like today...well not working so well. I have a couple of projects I need to get started one and just haven't come up with most of anything. Sneak Preview and Freebie Frame cluster from: Bugs Alive!

Good morning everyone. Boy what a busy week, but IT'S FRIDAY! And I have been playing around with all the new actions I have purchased from the last couple of sales I found. I have kind of designed this kit backwards, I made all the elements first and still working on background papers. I want something for you so I thought I would start this kit out by giving you a frame cluster....What do you think? I have more grandsons than granddaughter so I am always trying new things out for BOYS. And tons of photos to work with.

I talked to Linda last night and she is SOOOO enjoying her daughters visit. Make sure you all check out her new kit she is sharing, "Summer Weddings". She has really out did herself with this one. Freebie...Final Pages to Family Photo scalloped Blackboard Album

HI everyone, I didn't get to the computer in time last night to post this. These pages are two more created by my daughter, Dusty. We are having alot of fun working on these together and she is very helpful in letting me know what I need to add to the kit to make it complete. She is going to start online college next month so I know she will not have as much time to scrap with school and the boys, but she is really finally growing up....looking for the future for her and the boys. I am so proud of her.

Reminder, remember the challenge below and please get all 4 downloads to the album before Saturday morning as I am going to remove the links and add the album to my kit, which I will be uploading to my store this weekend. I hope you enjoyed it and of course I have some else in store for you...very colorful and fun. Your Freebie and Linda's Suprise Album....

HI gals....Just a few words and then I am off to bed. It has been a long day! Xanders Photo shot went well...once he warmed up to the gal, he was smiling away. A little slowing, but was very please with how she spent the time to get some good shots. It was the first time we have tried Target Photo Center. We usually go to Walmart. Our appointment was at 11:45 and we didn't leave until 1:15 where at Walmart they run you in ans out in about 20 minutes. I can't wait to get them.

Here is the preview of the Train Album SURPRISE Hybrid album I made Linda. She has been so busy getting ready for her daughters visit and other things on her list, I finally asked her to please look through the CD so that I could show you before it had was totally forgotten. I purchased the templates from Michelle Filo aka Mushy from Little Dreamer Designs and had asked for permission to buy a CU license so I could make a few to sell, but she said the gals on her site frown on CU, so all I can do is share the cute little train preview with you. Above is the preview of Kaleb's Train Album. Isn't it just TOO CUTE! I just found out it is a chip board book album too...so maybe I can make my own templates and then share with you.....anyway Linda Loved it.

Well I only got two more pages done to share tonight. I am hoping Dusty and I can get the other 4 done in the next day or two. I need to get a couple of kits together for my stores before they kick me out...LOL. Seems like I just get back in the swing of thing, here. I play with things for the blog, as I am having fun and LOVE hearing from you all and sharing with you, but I need to get to work....I did make 7 more papers for Family Photo's Add on....it will be shared here first with you sometime before next weekend, but this is one kit I want to sell and put in the stores. You all have been wonderful letting me know how much you like it, so I thought it may sell well also.

Freebie from my scrap kit FAMILY ALBUM

HI, I hope everyone had a great Indepenance Day (thoses of your from here in the states). It was a quiet one here, the kids all had their own plans but we are getting together tomorrow. Dusty and I are going to meet my oldest daughter for brunch and taking Xander, my youngest grandson, to get his first portrait made. It is so hard to believe he is almost 10 months old. He is growing so fast. I was driving to work on Thursday and realized we hadn't taken him yet...so wish us luck. Our appointment is at 11:30 am. I hope it isn't too close to his nap time and we have trouble with him being happy!

I would like to share something with you that my daughter and I had for an album I brought for a challenge at Treasures To Scrap . Dusty is doing an awesome job working as one of my CTs and learning very fast to use PSE, without much help from me as I don't know the program. I was a PSP user before I started PSCS 2. I would like to share one of her gallerys with you also. I thinks she is getting very creative now that she is getting the hang of the program.

Anyway the challenge was a while ago, that didn't get finished on time, in fact we haven't printed these yet but plan to tomorrow and get started with this. I had been to a chat with the maker of these Cosmo Cricket Blackboard Kate's Album one night a TTS, in fact Linda and I were both there. Spent too much money and neither of us have finished the project yet, but we had a good time in the chat with the gals and guy from Cosmo.
