PJ Scrappin Weekend

I wanted to share what I did all weekend before I call it time to give it a break and do some laundry and maybe even get dressed. Yes, that is right I haven’t got dress from my jammie all weekend. It started by a speed crop I attended at Hummie’s World. They were having a PJ Party and the addiction kicked in and well I am still sitting here, a couple of break to eat and sleep, but I have been scrapping since then.

Then I scrolled through her forum and found another couple of challenges to play with one of the I already posted as I had to get caught up with my Creative team work after losing all the time with my down computer but I will post it again.

Then I wanted to work on the pictures I got off my daughter’s computer of the Opening Night of New Moon so I got out my Twilight Bundle I had bought from Flerg over at Studio Girls and I did this one. My daughter Dusty saw it on Facebook and commnet something about me being sandwiched between to vampires…I reminded her that I was Wolf Girl long before the Twilight Series so she better remember WHO’S land she was on!!! ….LOL.

So I also posted the last part of the Freebie I was giving away to my facebook group, Project 52 Weeks of 2010. You can find the Freebies on the group blog. But Look what I found as I was posting this… my friend Kathy did with the freebie kit I had been post for the group…AWESOME job Kathy and Happy Birthday to your Grandma.

Good morning and I hope you are all ready to some awesome new kit that the gals I create for has New in their stores, on sale just in time for SUPER BOWL Sunday. Well, it is not really a Super Bowl Sale or anything, I just thought you may be having some extra time today to cyber shop with most men being tied up getting ready for the BIG game today. So grab you favorite beverage as I have a lot to share with you.

First I will start with a couple of CU products Charlie’s Scraps has in her stores at DSO and DSV. But have some news that is kind of sad, but good sales for you! I have been creating for Charlie’s Digiscrap for over a year now and I often wonder how she does it, two stores (which she advertises everywhere it seems), photographic business, family which includes a little one. SIMPLY an AMAZING woman. Her Photographic business has really taken off, so something had to go so she will be closing her Store at DSO and is not going to be designing personal use kits. She has a great sale going on in her store at DSO…..

She will still have her store and design commercial use product at DSV and her is her part of the Feb Grab Bag she has… for $9.00 which makes it only $1.00 per items in the bag…what a great deal.

COMPUTER CRASHED and BURNED

I am posting to let you know that my computer bit the dust, reloading and should be back able to post your freebie soon! It has been a long time coming but I guess I had just worked it too hard. Everything is safely on Mozy and my storage harddrive, so as soon as I get Windows 7 loaded and can get to the files I will post your Cold Weather Add on for you!

I have joined a Template Challenge Club at Hummie's World. It has wonderful and tons of Templates. What a great idea she has and I am using it to keep on track with my Project 52 week of 2010. My goal is to scrap pictures I took through out 2009. TONS of the to work with and I thought Hummie's Templates would keep me on track. I got them through her monthly

subscription, you should check it out.

SNEAK Peek for Cold Weather Add On Freebie!

It's Friday and boy am I glad this week is over....Have just been playing around today and got hooked up and in Facebook most of the day...LOL. Isn't it funny how is sucks you in and you can be there for hours and I don't even play the app games!

I have a friend that has her own site now, so I was a post on Facebook about a Brag About It! Challenge and signed up for it. It was a fun, quick thing to do and I had fun with it. Her name is Sarah Ellis of Scrappity Doo Dah. Here is forum thread with the challenge called Brag About It. Here is the page I did. I added the photo of my parents for the preview.

They had so much fun on their visit this past summer in the hot tub! 

Now for a sneak peek of my Cold Weather Add ON.... was going to post it at the beginning of the month, but I decided to post it Monday for you, at least the papers and Tues the Elements. So keep you eyes out!

Good Morning Scrapland!

Well I have a few things to share but not a lot of time so this will be quick! It has been a lazy week so far, I come home from work an pretty much veg in front of the tube! (Not like me, but it is still cold here and just trying to stay warm!)

First off, I have been playing around with With Week two at the Scrap off and I have to admit, these colors are hard for me to work with.  but anyway here is my week two:

Second I have also been surfing around trying out new things and I have tried a new color challenge this month. Hummie’s World has a monthly Designers Challenge which is on going each month. She asks that you go to her forum to collect the freebies from it. Here is my part…I had used it for my Project 52 Weeks of 2010 I posted on facebook group.

This is my mom from "Days Gone by" and I got this photo when my sister and I went to visit mom a couple of summers ago. I scanned it in, fixed it some and as I was looking through the photos I had got from the trip tonight, I had to scrap this one.

The photo was take in at her grandmother's porch in Pontiac, MI in 1949. She was 9. I hope you like it mom As I am trying to get an album together so my kids know my family from "Days Gone By"!

Here is the first of my scrappin last evening. This is my Beautiful Baby Girl (Daughter) Dusty and her partner, Javi. I am so proud of her as she is raising 3 little boys, working part time and going back to collage to get her Bachelors' Degree, woo hoo! YOU GO Sweetie. The photo was taken at our family gathering this past Thanksgiving. I so LOVE the photo of her and Javi.(Loucee’s is letting me share this as a Quick page, so there is a goodie at the end of my post.)

OK...I am so sorry I didn't get the lowercase alpha trimmed and zipped yet as I was so excited to get a PM from Digiscrap Addict this morning with my first assignment for the 2010 Scrap Off Contest. I had forgot all about it and I download the kit and knew right away what photos I wanted to use. I do have to admit, this is the first time I have tried this with a site I hardly know anyone and not many of the gals that signed up, I didn't know either. But I think it will be worth it just for the fun and meeting new gals too! It is the first day and so many have already posted, so I started playing and got lost in. It is now time for bed so I will get the alpha ready in the morning before I go to work. Do you want to see my creation???

When I saw the sneak peak of what color palette we were going to work with in the forum I knew right way what photos I would use. These little darling chiefs are my nieces. My mom made the girls the chief hats and aprons so my sister could try her hand at taking photos for her Christmas cards this year. I think they turned out so cute!

HI Everyone! 

I wanted to stop by and let everyone know that I have cleaned out my 4share account. All freebies from last year are removed. Over the next Few days I will try to go back and edit the posts, but time to start clean for the New Year, New Freebies to coming. As I am cleaning up my computer this month, I will be posting new freebies as I find what never made it to my blog or store or never got totally finished. I have found some cute stuff, so keep your eyes out for New goodies.

I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful Holiday and tomorrow is the day nobody is looking forward to, well maybe some of you stay at home moms are as the kiddos get on their way to school, but those of us who have to get out into the cold in the morning to leave the house to work, we are not so HAPPY!

Twas the Night Before Chrismas and all through my house there's a messy in every corner and I am sure there may even be a mouse, so Santa is stopping by here early........ On, Christmas Eve as Santa has tons of last minute stuff to get ready before I go on my nights delivery and visiting so I wanted to take the time this morning to wish everyone a VERY Merry Christmas and a HAPPY New Year.

I wont be around a computer for the next few day so I am posting Day 11 and Day 12 Christmas Day Now! But I first would like to thank you all for all the love and support YOU all have gave me over the year and years. A special wish for my Sisterhood of the Traveling DigiScrappers.....Love, Peace and Happiness girls with out you I would not have the drive and friendships I have today!....

Just a reminder about our challenge, Days Gone By, "Christmas Past"

We know that things are going to get a little crazy for everyone, so I have decided to keep this challenge very SIMPLE...as the TITLE says, *Christmas Past* we would like to see ANYTHING from your past Christmas Holidays. I would love to see things from your childhood,but as I said, "Lets just keep it simple."

We are going to run this Challenge into the mid of January 2010 as I know that it is a very busy time for everyone, which will give us all time to post our layouts and for Linda and I to get a January Posting gift together for you. So we are going run this one until January 15, 2010.
