Good Morning (as it is 12:45 am) and I am excited to share a layout I did at my very first Speed Scrap with Erin aka scrappyweiss from Enchanted Studio Scraps ! We had a total of two hour from time the Scrap started at 10:00PM EST til midnight to have it posted. I was very quiet during the scrap, read everything that everyone posted and trying to work on the layout... Laughing as these gals are so funny and I have to say I had a real good time.

Although I have been scrapping for five years now...I have never been a fast scrapper. It usually take me about 3 to 5 hours, so I don't think it turned out to bad. It took me until 2 minutes before post time ended but I did it on time.... But I am glad I had a kit in mind before I started along with a photo or two picked out as these are what usually take me the longest, mainly the photos.

I used a collab I had got from two awesome designer I love and love working with their kits, Charlie's Digiscraps and A Work in Progess, Vicky Parker....This was an awesome freebie kit, they posted on their blogs,to use for this, although I recolored a few of the paper as not knowing what the next direction were going to be and the photo I was trying to work....Thank you ladies so much for this outstanding kit to work with....

What a sad day for some of the people from my era as we say Good Bye to the King of POP! As I have watched the news coverage on Michael Jackson, I remember all of the mile stones this man raised and lead the way for many people to be kind and loving of each other, to those in need and the generous way Michael love to give back to those who loved him and most of all the WORLD PEACE this man tried so hard to teach Us. It had to be so hard to grow up in his world, yet it never seemed to stop him from Loving and Caring for ALL Man Kind.

Michael, May you rest in PEACE!

Hi everyone, I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday and enjoying your weekend...well it is almost over but I am just getting back in the swing of things. It has been a busy month or two and my parents are now on their way back to Missouri. After spending Wed at Disney World with them and my sister's family I worked all day yesterday and it is always our busiest time of the year when it is almost always 95 degrees or hotter here in Florida (for those who don't know, I work at an ice plant as an office manager).

I wanted to share a few pic from our trip to Disney! I had a wonderful time with my family. One of the reason we went was for my niece Gracie...it was her birthday gift from her parents. So, since it wasn't her real birthday (Disney does let you in free if your can prove it is you real birthday) we stopped in their town hall (information center) and they gave Gracie a special birthday button to wear. And to our surprise, everyone that worked at the park stopped and greeted Gracie and wished her a very magical birthday.

One of the things they are doing now so that everyone can see the characters is the have photo areas around the park so that you can get your pictures with them and have them sign an autograph book. Gracie and Karley got to see just about everyone (there are a few for next trip).
