WOW, what a weekend. I got almost nothing finished "I" wanted to get done. My boss left for vacation Thursday and I ended up working all weekend at my real world job. Meanwhile, laundry is still piling up, dish in the sink as we ate on the run all weekend and it is Monday night and I am still not finished reading my next assignment much less started my next paper, BUT I do have some news for you for the up coming month.

GOOD Morning everyone! It has been an exciting week so far. My first day in college went very well and learning my way around the virtual campus was really kind of fun. My first paper is do this Sunday and I am all finished except the references page...WOO HOO. As I said before now I wish I would of pay more attention to how my kids were to put their yearly science projects together, but I have it donw now. Not sure how many of you know that one of my CT's is my daughter, Dusty aka mikeyjavimami2124. Well, is she...LOL but she is attending college at AIU also. What a fast learner and smart girl, if I say so myself. It is so awesome to be able to share and learn together with her. Since she moved back to Florida and lived close for about the last year and a half we have become very close as friends. And what an awesome feeling that is as she was a real tough cookies as she was growing up. But has always been MY baby girl! (Love you sweetie)

I finally finished this alpha last night. It turned out pretty cute I have to say so my self. I have removed the links for the first three posts to get them ready for my store for the first month of August. Good morning everyone! Just a quick note and to let you know all know (Jill thank you for posting about the missing letters) That I forgot to upload the symbols and numbers which include the lower case t u v ....I guess post so late at night isn't always good. So I am just Posting the link for that now ans posting you the rest when I get home from work as I need to make a preview.

My first day on the virual campus went well. I am enjoying this first class, as it is about business planning and how the affect the areas in which you open one. Being a bookkeeper for about 18 years for four different companys, it is easy for me so the reading is easy for me to understand. BUT MS Office 2007...that was a diffent story. As much as I have used Word, I didn't realize what all the little buttons across the top were for and didn't use them. It was funny as we have to type our assignment in a APA format and I had found a template on MS for it so I downloaded it and all those button at the top changed...couldn't found anything. Point being, it sure wasn't like the old school typing class. TOO many options. LOL...Well ladies and gents I need to get off to work so I will leave you with the missing parts of you alpha until tonight.

Bugs Alive Freebie Part three......

Well, hours and hours later, I finally got this ready for posting. It seemed like everyone wanted a part of me today! I spent a big part of the day on the phone. Usually it is very quiet here on Saturday. JJ is out mowing and taking care of his lawncare business and I have a usually QUIET house...Not today! It could mean tomorrow is going to be...(I am saying hopfully).

I spent the most part of the morning surfing around the virtual campus, checking out my college classes and my first few assignments...Boy not only I'm I having to read for the classes, but I have to learn to write a paper to turn in for each assignment. Cover page, title page with index, Body of the reseach and then the resources page. BIG warning all over the site, NO coping anything with out a credit for it. It is funny as I never really realized why elementary school age kids had to do the yearly science projects but to my surprise...it is to learn how to put together assignment papers for college courses. Didn't realize what I was in for. Thought it was going to be...read a few chapters and do an oline quiz and maybe one reseach paper, but in my first 8 weeks class we have to do one for each assignment (8 total) and also have an outline directions for posting comments in the teachers forum. Being active in the forum is a big part of the grade too! ....I sure have my work cut out for me. If any of you really know me, I hate forums...All that digging for information and usually so many OLD threads, with things that happened MONTHS ago, in some years ago..if it's done and over with DELETE IT! Is my feelings on that...LOL...it is half of the grade so I better get use to it! At least I enjoy to topic and the reading of chapters goes by pretty quick. Already read most of the first three chapters, which is where my first assignment comes from. I will keep you posted...hopefully with out bording you to death!

So here is part 3 of the Bugs Alive kit...It includes the lower case alpha and numbers / symbols...the Cap part of the alpha is about half finished. When I get done here, I am going to try to finish most of it up to post soon (see I didn't promise tomorrow, but hoping). I want to get started on a kit for Aug for my friends that visit me here each day. I hope you enjoy this.

ATTENTION....WRONG ALBUM for my templates for the SCALLOPED EDGE ALBUM.

I wanted everyone to know that my scalloped template album DOES NOT fit the Kate Cosmo Blackboard album....I purchased a template set to make these and thought it would fit them but they are made for another Scalloped edge board album, called Scallop Album by BasicGrey. I am so sorry I didn't test it BEFORE I posted it here...I went JJ Grandmother 74 birthday last night for dinner and bought home the photos and made the album for her, got everything printed and started to glue the first piece to the blackboard and it wouldn't line up....Well luckly I had orders a few of the new albums we are seeing qp made and ordered one from Treasure To Scrap as they have a paper scrapping store too, and I had gotten one of these Scallop Albums, IT FIT! WOO HOO project saved.... Please REMEMBER this if you downloaded it, to get the right album. I put this in my store as a bonus for purchasing my kit so I am going to go through my recpt and email everyone....SORRY...lesson learned...test them out FIRST!

Just a quick note that I will be posting another part to Bugs Alive tomorrow. I have been getting signed up to go to college for my assocated degree in Business Medical Coding and Billing. It is along time coming but I am finally going for IT! WOO HOO College Girl...at my age LOL. But really I am very proud to be furthering my education no matter what age I am.

Sneak Preview and Freebie Frame cluster from: Bugs Alive!

Good morning everyone. Boy what a busy week, but IT'S FRIDAY! And I have been playing around with all the new actions I have purchased from the last couple of sales I found. I have kind of designed this kit backwards, I made all the elements first and still working on background papers. I want something for you so I thought I would start this kit out by giving you a frame cluster....What do you think? I have more grandsons than granddaughter so I am always trying new things out for BOYS. And tons of photos to work with.

Freebie...Final Pages to Family Photo scalloped Blackboard Album

HI everyone, I didn't get to the computer in time last night to post this. These pages are two more created by my daughter, Dusty. We are having alot of fun working on these together and she is very helpful in letting me know what I need to add to the kit to make it complete. She is going to start online college next month so I know she will not have as much time to scrap with school and the boys, but she is really finally growing up....looking for the future for her and the boys. I am so proud of her.

Your Freebie and Linda's Suprise Album....

HI gals....Just a few words and then I am off to bed. It has been a long day! Xanders Photo shot went well...once he warmed up to the gal, he was smiling away. A little slowing, but was very please with how she spent the time to get some good shots. It was the first time we have tried Target Photo Center. We usually go to Walmart. Our appointment was at 11:45 and we didn't leave until 1:15 where at Walmart they run you in ans out in about 20 minutes. I can't wait to get them.

Here is the preview of the Train Album SURPRISE Hybrid album I made Linda. She has been so busy getting ready for her daughters visit and other things on her list, I finally asked her to please look through the CD so that I could show you before it had was totally forgotten. I purchased the templates from Michelle Filo aka Mushy from Little Dreamer Designs and had asked for permission to buy a CU license so I could make a few to sell, but she said the gals on her site frown on CU, so all I can do is share the cute little train preview with you. Above is the preview of Kaleb's Train Album. Isn't it just TOO CUTE! I just found out it is a chip board book album too...so maybe I can make my own templates and then share with you.....anyway Linda Loved it.

Well I only got two more pages done to share tonight. I am hoping Dusty and I can get the other 4 done in the next day or two. I need to get a couple of kits together for my stores before they kick me out...LOL. Seems like I just get back in the swing of thing, here. I play with things for the blog, as I am having fun and LOVE hearing from you all and sharing with you, but I need to get to work....I did make 7 more papers for Family Photo's Add on....it will be shared here first with you sometime before next weekend, but this is one kit I want to sell and put in the stores. Freebie from my scrap kit FAMILY ALBUM

HI, I hope everyone had a great Indepenance Day (thoses of your from here in the states). It was a quiet one here, the kids all had their own plans but we are getting together tomorrow. Dusty and I are going to meet my oldest daughter for brunch and taking Xander, my youngest grandson, to get his first portrait made. It is so hard to believe he is almost 10 months old. He is growing so fast. I was driving to work on Thursday and realized we hadn't taken him yet...so wish us luck. Our appointment is at 11:30 am. I hope it isn't too close to his nap time and we have trouble with him being happy!

I would like to share something with you that my daughter and I had for an album I brought for a challenge at Treasures To Scrap . Dusty is doing an awesome job working as one of my CTs and learning very fast to use PSE, without much help from me as I don't know the program. I was a PSP user before I started PSCS 2. I would like to share one of her gallerys with you also. I thinks she is getting very creative now that she is getting the hang of the program.

Anyway the challenge was a while ago, that didn't get finished on time, in fact we haven't printed these yet but plan to tomorrow and get started with this. I had been to a chat with the maker of these Cosmo Cricket Blackboard Kate's Album one night a TTS, in fact Linda and I were both there. Spent too much money and neither of us have finished the project yet, but we had a good time in the chat with the gals and guy from Cosmo.

I have to say that I did have a much better day today. Thank you all for your up lifting comments. I really enjoy reading them and love hearing from you as you stop by to collect this kit, Family Photo's. I am making it for my first all the same kit album for my girls and going to surprise them by having them printed by either Shutterfly or one of the other ones. DO ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTION which one is the best???? This is the last part I have made up so far but after working with it, I think I will make an add on in the next month or two. I have a couple of fun summer kits in mind. One I have started and the other is only a color palette at the moment. he he..tonight I just goofed off, knowing that I had this ready for you to post tonight. Trying to get those creative juices flowing.

I hope to have something ready for Friday, but if I don't I wanted everyone to know that I hope you have a safe and festive July 4th. I am sure the web will be quiet, with everyone having their back yard BBQs, spending time with love ones and watching the fireworks, so I want to let you know that I wish you all a Wonderful Holiday! I have to say I was a pretty cute baby...but after 50 years of of raising four kids puts a toll on the old body. LOL I am using this kit to make the girls both a 8x8 board book for Christmas. I so really enjoyed see some of the photos my mom had never shared with us. This was one of them but I have lots more to do. I have to do at least 12 pages for the books for them. Besides it's always fun scrapping baby photos, right? I know I really enjoy it.

What a day...I got up early and still never got this posted for you. I got a call early in the morning from my boss, they couldn't get the fax machine working. So I had to leave the house in a hurry, I finally got back home about 2pm and sat down here to pay some bills and go through the snail mail that was piling up beside my deck since I had left for my mom's. And before I knew it it was dinner time. This may sound like, AND.....(everyone has these days) Now I know that I don't do well when someone calling me away from my normal everyday coffee and morning computer time...Kinda like getting your coffee and reading the news paper before starting your day.

This is me at the age 4, the summer before I started school. My grandma had this made in a dime store downtown Pontiac MI. I remeber it must of been her favorite as she had an 8x10 in her bedroom. Ok ...see below for your Part 3. ENJOY!

Freebie of "FAMILY Photo's" Part 2

Good Saturday to you all. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and doing something fun. ;)... I have two more days of my month's vacation and tons of email to finish going thru that I didn't attend very good while I was gone. LOL....time to stop hiding from the digi world and get back at it. But the break has done me some good and made to take a good hard look at where I am going in my designing adventure (will post more about that later in another post).

Here is the second part of the Family Photo's...I hope to get a couple of things scrapped with it tonight, that is how I know if the kit is missing something or has too much of something. Plus, I brought home a lot of photos I want to scrap for my kids family albums. That is one of the reasons I am designing this kit. Who knows, this one may become a series too! What do you think? Adding different colors with the tan paperbag look. As you can tell that is one of my favorites.

I had alot of fun going through my mom's stash of photo oldies...it brought back so many fun family memories and lots of laughter between my mom, sister and I on this visit to "nothing to do land", Bloomfield, MO. It did make me realize that I really miss living close to my parents, we did have alot of good times together as I was growing up and also realized something very sad, they may not always be around. BUT......my sister and I have them talked into TRYING to move back to the sunshine state. Most people retire here in FL, but my parents moved north when they retired, away from their family to be with another part of my mom's family and I could see they aren't really all that happy as they were when they first got there. My mom did an awesome job with us girls in teaching us how important family is...I only hope I can be as good with my kids.

Well, I have a busy day, so I better get cracking.....hope you enjoy this part of the kit and again.....I so appreciate all your love and support.

Here is the first one that I have been thinking about before I ask for your help, a heritage kit. I am going to share it with you first over the next few days but will be removing the links on the first of July as I will be putting it in my store for sale. I am really please with what I have came up with, just a few more things I want to add, but wanted to start sharing with you now. Here is the start of it......What do you think? Hope you like it as much as I am liking it...going to try sscrapping an album for my kids with some of the photos I brought home from my trip to my MOM's photo boxes and albums. It was so much fun looking through all the childhood memories.

I am so sorry that I didn't get this posted last night. I am still very tired and not really feeling very creative. But I do want to thank all of you who stop by my blog daily and for all the wonderful comments you have been leaving me during my vacation. I still have one more week or so til the end of the month but I will be posting here (I hope) daily with something for you .

Being away from the computer has made me see that there are so much I should be doing around my house. Man what a mess....I have paperwork to weed through, collecting from mowing customers and tons of organizing to do in my office. But, I have so much fun posting and sharing you guys that I can't help myself. So.....what gives, only time will tell but I think I am just babbling as I am tired and don't want to go back to work in my real world job tomorrow.

Hi, everyone! I just got home late last night and was playing around with some slides my mom gave me as my scanner will scan slides. I will have to play alittle more as the quality isn't very good between it being old and learning to edit photos. Here is me and my brother Jim, which I got to visit while I was in Missouri. He lives in the northern part of the state.

I will be back on tonight with more of Pretty in Pink but want to say Hello and That I got alot of stuff to play with and scrap for my children so until later......

Well it's Thur and we are having a great time. We have been looking through mom's old family photos and having some good laughs, exspecially with my little sister. I have a bunch I am scanning in today to bring home. And my sister and I talked my mom into having a portrait made together. I had to laugh, as my mom is like, oh we can get an appointment or I really need to get my hair done. So, Amber and I got the phone book out and solved both of those problems (you have to remember, we are in a very remote area and these people here are so backwards and don't do anything with out it very well planned out months ahead of time). after about 3 hours of calling and meeting all mom's " we can't do that" . We are going today at 10:30 to get her hair done and 4:00pm to a beautiful park setting with the town photographer that does all the senior pictures for the schools in this area.

When we told her it was all set up, she says, "what are we going to wear? We told her all the same color tops, jeans and bare foot. So after we got my nieces to sleep so dad could watch them, off to Walmart for the same color tops but she wanted a little different style shirts for each of us (this was 10pm). Then when we got home, she wanted us to paint her toe nails. We all got pretty toes and off to bed we went. I am sure today is going to be a real adventure, she hates things done at the last minute and my sister and I get a kick out of it. But all in all, we are all having a GREAT time and one we will all be able treasure for a long time. She wouldn't let us take pictures, so I will have to journal these moments with our portrait.

Well it is my turn for shower, so I better get going. My dad has a house full of woman and has to jump in and out when he can, but I think he is enjoying us all being here. I will post all the rest of Pretty in Pink this Sunday when I get home (I forgot the CD, sorry). Thank you for stopping by to read about my MO adventure.

Hello everyone!

I am at my mom's and really enjoying my visit and have some across some slides my mom has decided to part with of me as a babies to 5 years old. Woo Hoo, Some I don't remember seeing.

The day we got here, we were greeted with a family cookout with about 50 some family members I had not see since I was a very young girl and a few I had never seen. Was so happy to be able to meet them and to see my nieces and newphews. My oldest brother Jim, and almost all of his family was there and thier new grandson. My uncle Speed, at least that is what we have always called him. I have a bunch of photos to share BUT I forgot my camera cord so I can't get the photos off my camera now to share with you...Will be making a Walmart run tomorrow, so I guess I will take the camera card and get a CD made so I can share them and I want to get copies of my mom and sisters pictures. Well, until a few days or I get some pictures to post.

Well, it's late again. I really have to stop doing this to myself. I realize a person can't go on and on with only 4 or 5 hours of sleep and be their best and brightest....LOL. But I am having fun. I got a little carried away with this part of the kit. But this Blue part of the kit is for my dear friend "New Grandma" Bon Scrapatit Designs as I have said before. I really have something cute I found today but don't want to post it yet as it is part of the surprise I am sending to her...after she sees it I will gladly post it and share where I got it...I think you will love it too! It was almost like it was made just for this kit. Don't want to ruin her surprise. With that said it may be Friday night before I post again, I need to still finish the alpha for the blue part that will be added with the final part of the blue.

Ok, Here is a Quickpage I was working on and I thought I would get a couple of others done but I have been working at getting my last few comments to my stores finished up, so I decided to post this one and as a bonus which is a green alpha but I didn't get a preivew made for it yet. It is almost like the numbers, just green. I have a plaid set but I still need make them in their own files...So I will add them to something else for you. Sorry I didn't get this posted before I started the blue. I have been working on this kit for about 2 months, so somethings are finished and others are not. The neverending New Arrival kit goes on and on and on....LOL.

I would like to share a couple of new kits I have up in my stores for the month of June (done ahead of time so that I can just relax and blog!) with you. This first kit is made in honor of Linda's Birthday, that is coming up soon!!!! I have learned alot from her and become very close to her even out side of the digi world and I so hope that some day soon we will be able to meet face to face...we talk on the phone regularly and become very close, you would never know we haven't meet face to face. I feel like I have known her for years and that we have a TRUE friendship....this is where the name of my two new kits came from....."Heart Filled Friends" and "Friends". Here are the previews. New Arrival in Blue Part ONE

Well gals I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I have been working at getting organized to go on vacation and finish up on a few things I needed to turn in to a coulpe of the store before I go. I will be leaving in the middle of the week, but getting my house in order also...it alot of work getting ready to leave and then when you get home you need a vacation from your vacation...LOL. Well I hope you enjoyed the first part of New Arrival, I have took down the links for the first few and by the ned of the week I will be taking down the green parts as well. I am going to get them together to put in my stores as a baby mega kit, I hope. It took me forever to get the Mother Earth series together and in the stores.

I will post a few previews of my new release tomorrow and here's hoping you enjoy the next few parts...yes, I am leaving the pink for last, sorry girls, but you'll be glad as I have a few more goodies to add to it.
